Activities of the Quality Control Department
Control of Raw Materials and Incoming Materials:
- Inspecting the quality of raw materials such as sand, binders, metals, and additives.
- Ensuring that materials comply with standards and technical specifications.
Production Process Control:
- Monitoring all casting stages, including mold preparation, melting, and cooling.
- Controlling temperature, melting time, and technical parameters to ensure quality.
Inspection of Produced Parts:
- Conducting Visual Inspections to check for surface defects such as cracks, cavities, and irregularities.
- Measuring and controlling the dimensions of parts using precise instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges).
Identification and Analysis of Casting Defects:
- Identifying common defects such as gas porosity, shrinkage, hot and cold cracks.
- Providing analytical reports and recommending corrective actions.
Final Product Control:
- Inspecting and approving products before they are sent to customers.
- Ensuring that parts comply with customer standards and requirements.
Quality Documentation Management:
- Recording test results, inspection reports, and related documentation.
- Maintaining quality records for process analysis and improvement.
Providing Feedback to the Production Department:
- Reporting quality deviations to the production team.
- Collaborating to improve processes and reduce waste.
Monitoring Quality Control Equipment:
- Calibrating and maintaining measuring and laboratory tools.
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of inspection equipment.
- Providing quality reports on products to customers.
- Addressing customer complaints and feedback regarding product quality.
